BILL DEWARE MAKES AN ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING HIS HEALTH
NORTH PROVIDENCE – Bill Deware a candidate for House District 54 made an announcement regarding his health.
“In late June I developed an infection that would escalate into a case of meningitis that left me hospitalized for two weeks. During most of that time I was unconscious in a medically induced coma. A recovery is expected but I believe in complete transparency with voters. I’m fortunate to have a wife who loves me and has been there every step of the way. I’ve even more fortunate to have a family that kept me fighting when it was hardest.”
Deware continued, “I remain committed to bringing change to North Providence and will be remaining in this race until the end. Voters deserve a choice. Whether they will be voting for me or my opponent, our democracy depends on that choice. If voters do not have candidates to choose between they are robbed of their ability to express themselves. Nothing good can come from elected officials going unopposed year after year. I challenged O’Brien because I believe it’s time for a change. What we need is a representative who believes it’s more important to take care of the people of this district rather than those at the State House. A representative that works to cut taxes for families rather than for corporations. A representative that is willing to stand up and fight. I’m in this race until the end.”
